Catch The Coach Bonus!

The day before Catalyst Games 2009, Catalyst coaches and Trainers will do one of the Games WODs. The WOD will be a timed event.  Coaches' scores will be averaged.

If, during the Games, an athlete beats the combined Coaches' average score, they'll earn a $100 bonus for their charity.  They have to win the event, but they don't have to be the overall Games winner.

Limitations: one prize each for Male and Female competitors in the Rx class only.  If no one beats the Coaches' average, no bonus will be awarded.  Go fast!

The Charity Component

Last year, the Christy's Light Foundation was on hand to help out, and make a few bucks in the process.  This year, we're taking a slightly different tack: the overall winner of the Rx Class will get to choose which charity benefits from their labours.  Just one more reason to scale up to Rx!

We'll soon be posting athlete's profiles as they prepare for the Games.  They'll list their charity of choice, as well as their training plan, strengths, and weaknesses.  

Since 2005, we've always had strong ties to local charities.  The 2009 Games will be no different.
