Every year, we encourage local photographers to come to the Games, take pictures, and enter them in our "Best Picture Contest." This year, we've been lucky enough to bring in a pro...but that doesn't mean we can't collect pictures and give out prizes!

Bring your camera. Write an essay. Talk about, sing about, write about what you see at the Games. We'll be posting all of it, and the top contribution will win a sweet prize!

New Sponsor: Again Faster Canada

Anyone who's known me for longer than a week knows that I love Again Faster Equipment.

Jon Gilson, the founder of Again Faster, is one of the greatest writers in the CrossFit world. Their video crew captures some of the best action anywhere, and their Mic'd Instructor videos have taught each of us SOMETHING useful. 

We featured Gilson's early writing on our site way back in 2008. Our Catalyst Games 2009 shirt had part of his famous "Don't Quit" essay written on the back.

I was lucky enough to be featured in a video discussion with Gilson early this spring, in an effort to help other CrossFit Affiliates with their businesses. Heck, I hugged the guy at my Level 1 Cert. It happened!

This year, AgainFaster opened a Canadian office. Yesterday, they came on as a sponsor for Catalyst Games 2012. I couldn't be more excited. More details to come!

Customized Shirts For Early Registrants!

The Games are coming up quicker than you think. Register yourself or your team by July 31, and have your shirt - a wicking athletic shirt - customized with your name!

Can't commit by July 31? No problem. Registration cutoffs:

August 15 - Noncustomized Athletic shirt (no name on back)

Sept 8 - No shirt

Catalyst Games 2011 - Grand Prize Details

As always, our love for competition is overshadowed only by our passion for participation. Like last year, our Grand Prize Winner will be determined by random draw of finishers of the entire Catalyst Games - either as individuals, OR as part of a team.
