A FUN introduction to movement for kids aged 3-6.
Combining tumbling with the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu, kids race, roll, jump and twist their way through different games and challenges! Develops kinesthetic awareness, balance, strength, and flexibility!
The most important aspect of physical development at this age is the vestibular system: the 'filter' for all of the other senses. Good vestibular development is critical for success in any sport later in life, as well as the ability to learn and process information in school.
Rumble/Tumble follows the philosophies and practices of CrossFit Kids (read, "What is CrossFit Kids?" here.) Though our practices are grounded in science, the most important part to kids is that Rumble/Tumble is FUN.
Parents, don't worry: kids who run, jump, lift, carry, throw, and play in a physical way are much less likely to develop overuse injuries later in life; are far more likely to be confident in social situations, and bow less to pressure from friends; they're even better at school work!
