Almost nine years since composing the first post on this blog, I returned today. I was looking for a comment made by a reader in 2009 to illustrate a point on my new blog (www.twobrainbusiness.com/blog).
I started writing DontBuyAds.com for three reasons:
- to remember the lessons taught to be by my first mentor, Denis;
- to share these lessons with other affiliate owners, and thereby justify the expense;
- to keep the Movement rolling forward.
Today, I own Two-Brain Business, a mentoring practice to help gym owners help other people. It's a passion project for me--I think making gyms profitable will keep their owners in business longer, and thereby save more lives--and it's also become the largest mentoring agency in the world in its first 16 months.
On this site, you'll find reference to 321Go stuff. I was their lead mentor for years, but left when our visions of mentorship diverged. I can't speak to their program now (and won't give you an opinion on it.) But here's what I believe:
That opinion is easy, and knowledge is hard to acquire;
That progress as an entrepreneur requires mentorship, not just knowledge.
This is why I choose the path of mentorship. And we welcome gym owners into the TwoBrain Family through the Incubator program.
You can click the link on the left for more information (or just click here and avoid all the hard work of turning your head.)
My path to gym mastery is chronicled on these pages. And my path to mentorship is chronicled in my new book, The Authority Ladder (due in October 2017.)
But my roots are right here, in these first 350+ blog posts. Thank you for reading carefully--some of them are outdated, but they're all from the heart.
