Something's wrong here, isn't it?
Whether you spotted the spelling error in the title or not, you can at least appreciate that something's not perfect.
Did your estimation of this blog decrease? Did you expect LESS because I don't have the knowledge, commitment, or care to check my writing?
Would you buy the product above, or do you expect better from medical experts?
If you're busy, and you receive a poorly-written email asking you to read another's opinion...what will you think of their ideas? Will your own opinion be foreshadowed by their email?
I'm an advocate for establishing yourself as an expert in your market. Creating a foundation of trust for new clients - before you meet them, sometimes - is priceless. A referral to you as "The Authority" on CrossFit, fitness, or health will set you five steps ahead. If you're a professional, you'll be more highly valued; have more influence; and get more clients.
Things you wouldn't expect from a professional:
- Spelling mistakes
- Grammatical errors ('you're' in place of 'your,' etc.)
- Titles that aren't capitalized
- text-speak (i have a few spots open lol how aboutthurs?)
- Mispronunciation
No one will want to hear this, least of all from me, the purveyor of MANY mistakes. No one likes to hear that their deadlift form is terrible, either.
